After spending 25 years as a bookkeeper—including 20 years in the seafood industry and five years with Big Shoulders Coffee—Ruth never expected to become a business owner. But when the opportunity to open Coastal Bay Seafood came her way, she knew it was one she couldn't pass up.

As a proud woman-owned business, Coastal Bay Seafood is the result of Ruth's industry knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for serving her community with the freshest seafood available.

Not long after, she brought her husband on board. With over 20 years of experience as a chef at a local Italian restaurant, he added his culinary expertise and love for great food to the business. Together, they built Coastal Bay Seafood on a simple foundation: quality seafood, friendly service, and a commitment to their customers.
