After spending 25 years as a bookkeeper and operations in wholesale businesses, including 20 years in the seafood industry and 4 years in the coffee industry- Ruth never expected to become a business owner. But when the opportunity to open Coastal Bay Seafood came her way, she knew it was one she couldn't pass up.

 

As a proud woman-owned business, Coastal Bay Seafood is the result of Ruth's industry knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for serving the community with the freshest seafood available.

 

Not long after, she brought her husband on board. With over 25 years of experience cooking in Chicagoland Italian Restaurants, he added his culinary expertise and love for great food to the business. Together, they built Coastal Bay Seafood on a simple foundation: quality seafood, friendly service, and a commitment to their customers.

 

Today, Coastal Bay Seafood remains a family-owned business dedicated to bringing the freshest catches and best seafood experience to the community.
